Plano East Hockey Association is excited to announce the hiring of Corey Clarks as Head Coach for the 2014-2015 season.  Coach Clarks played Junior hockey in British Columbia, Canada, and college hockey at Washington University in Bellingham, WA.  He brings 14 years of coaching experience to PESH, the last 4 being with Marcus High School in Flower Mound, where his varsity team was runner-up in the state championship in 2013.  Coach Clarks is also an excellent evaluator and recruiter of talent, being a scout of Tier III Jr A level players looking to make the jump to NAHL.

Coach Clarks said, "I am very pleased to have this opportunity to coach Plano East and help develop this group of young talented players to the next level.  I look forward to meeting all the parents and players very soon.  Go Panthers!"

Clarks brings with him two assistant coaches that were with him as players and later coaches during his time at Marcus HS:

Drew Hardjarck played for Marcus HS where he was a leading scorer, graduating in 2006.  He assisted Coach Clarks for the past two seasons, including in the 2013 state championship run.

Robert McClay also played hockey for Marcus HS, graduating two years ago.  He started assisting Clarks last season with a Peewee team out of Farmers Branch.

We welcome Coach Clarks, Hardjarck, and McClay to Plano East Hockey!
